got2go

An app for when you really need one!

got2go is a mobile application that allows the potential user to locate public toilets from wherever they may be. Unlike other toilet location applications, this app allows the user to rate their toilet experience and view what other people have said about their experiences. It's always nice to know what to expect when planning on using a public toilet. Not only can the user view reviews but they can also see how much the toilet may cost, whether it is open or closed and whether or not it is out of service temporarily or indefinitely.

This application is perfect for tourists but it is also great for locals who would like to be in the "know" of how clean a toilet is or whether or not there is toiletpaper/soap stocked in the washroom.

I created this app from my own personal experience as a tourist as well as my experience living in large cities for short periods of time.

The logo is cleverly designed to look like a location pin but in the shape of a toilet. I chose a lighter blue colour because it reminded me of public toilets, water, and cleanliness. I came up with the name got2go because I remember when I was a child and I had to go to use the toilet I used to jump around saying "I've got to go! I've really got to go" It's something that we can relate to as adults but maybe in a less obvious way.
